I'm not a wildlife photographer. The equipment I have does not lend itself to shooting wildlife in the wild, a zoo maybe but not the wild. But there are times when I get lucky...
While not a sharp picture it is the first picture that I have taken of an eagle in the wild. The bird was probably 1/4 of a mile away. This was shoot with a 200mm lens and the picture was enlarged to even get what you see here. The site was a salt marsh near the beach in Ocean Shores WA. He or she flew away seconds after I took this picture. (Ocean Shores WA 05/2008)
